Section - Light Qualities
With the exposed upper level, lights diffused into the underground space through the skylights.


Plan (Undergraound Space)- Light Qualities
The cavities formed between the outside walls and inner walls are filled with waters and the lights were reflected into the underground space.


Section (Upper Level) - Morning Shadows
In the morning, sun lights shines on the east front (entrance) and creates a rectangular and a cross shadow on land.


Axonometric - Evening Shadows
In evening, the cross shadow was formed inside the church, on the upper level platform.


Axonometric - Upper Level
Linear skylights on the upper level gives a brief idea of the heaven like lighting at the underground space.
The back triangular shaped wall surrounding the building created a relationship between the landscape and the building.


Axonometric- Underground Space
Water reflected the sun lights from the upper level to the ground level through the triangular windows.
Stairs are created with a circular motion, created a relationship between the twisted crystal shape of the church and human movements.
