MAIN IDEA BEHIND THE DESIGN

The whole UT environment contains three main parts:
1. The Bridge and the Paper like Landscape (Zhang Yin)
2. The Meeting Space (Sphere)
3. The Extended Rectangular Structure (Steve Jobs)

For Zhang Yin's Space, a paper like landscape was used to represent her paper factory and her idea of power of curve. White and light colour was mainly used for this space. The strips over the landscape is designed as a track for delivering papers within the spaces. Besides, a space was created by using the landscape and a moving crystal cover. It can be used as an office or storage of recycled papers. The Bridge was connected with a glass staircase. It contains a ceiling with curved components (power of curve). The bridge was divided into two levels with glass platform and ramps. It act like a bridge crossing the circular space of the bridge. In addition, the bridge was extended with an circular shape in order to connect the bridge with the landscape (by covering the space on the landscape). A circular glass floor was designed inside the bridge which can be see through on the landscape or the bridge (connected the two spaces). Moreover, this circular space was also created as conference office. Two elevators were placed at the edge with connected Steve Jobs' space. Also, an elevator was indicated at the corner of the landscape which brings the client to the meeting space.

For the meeting space, it is designed with a sphere shape. It's like a sphere wrap with a paper on top and rectangular shapes around it. It was connected to the upper landscape with four curved strips. A dining table which represents both clients' idea of power was placed inside with amazing lightings. There are three main gates, both entrances and exits. The left one is for the elevator for Zhang Yin, the right one is for the elevator for Steve Jobs and the back one is for the elevator which connected to the landscape.

Finally, for Steve Jobs' space, its structure was mainly designed with rectangular shapes which comes for the idea of his Apple Stores. However, it also represents the main idea of power of Steve Jobs (Spaces and Technology). Moreover, contrast of glass and rock materials was used to reinforce the idea. The whole space was a combination of six offices which are all connected with a tunnel or bridge. The major materials used for these offices which all of the them are designed from the idea of Spaces and Technology. Besides from these offices, two platform with grass are created for relaxation during brake times. Also, the green colour gives a better office environment for the client. Furthermore, two elevators were placed on the grass platform. which the right circular shape one goes to the meeting space and the other one goes to the lowest part of the space. For the elevator which looks like a laptop (or a shell), a track was design for it's path. It first goes around a wall with texture expressing the idea of power. Than it goes through a golden block (which shows the power of technology) and down to another the office designed with glass and rock structure.
